Restarting the Fire House Monthly Brunch

One thought from the Feb 26th meeting was to possibly help restart the Fire Company Sunday Brunch! I think it’s a great idea. Thought was to:

  • Try a one-off brunch to see if we have enough volunteers etc to get it going, see what it takes to get it started, etc
  • All proceeds with go to the Fire Company
  • We’d like to reach out and get others from the town involved as well as volunteers!

It’s be great to chat about this on the March 9th meeting, but let’s chat about it here as well!

I think this is a great idea! Mother’s Day might be a hard to staff the event, though probably it would be a good day to draw a crowd since people like to attend brunches on Mother’s Day. Definitely worth pursuing!

Yeah, good thought Elaine. Likely people will have family plans on a Mother’s Day already, but we can see if it’s advantageous as you say (they’ll have a place to go in town for a brunch!) or if really for a test a better weekend could be planned!
